John-Michael-Faber III, born in 1965, spouse of Nikki Rose, son of John-Michael-Faber and Wanda, father of Missouri, Cheyenne, John Kole, Hali, Lane and Laci, died on June 12, 2007 at 41 years old.
John Michael Faber III, age 41, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2007, in St. John's Hospital, Cassville, Missouri. He was born November 25, 1965, in San Rafael, California, the son of John Michael Jr. and Wanda (Clifton) Faber. On August 8, 1992, in Las Vegas, Nevada, he was united in marriage to Nikki Rose, who survives. He is also survived by his mother, Wanda Faber of Pendleton, Oregon; five children, Laci Stubblefield, Lane Stubblefield, Hali Faber, John Kole Faber, all of the home, and Cheyenne Faber of Smithville, Missouri; two brothers, Christopher Michael Faber of California and Anthony Gonzalez of Canyon, Texas; and two sisters, Leilani Louise Barton and her husband, Mark, of Monett, Missouri, and Roberta Marie Faber of Pendleton, Oregon. He was preceded in death by his father, John Michael Faber Jr. and a brother, Ronald John Faber. John moved to Jenkins at an early age where he attended school until the age of twelve, when he moved to Cassville. He was a 1983 graduate of Cassville High School and then attended Crowder College and Southwest Missouri State. For three years John served in the United States Marine Corp., returning to Monett, Missouri, in 1992. While living in Monett, John graduated from Drury College Police Academy and then worked for the Monett Police Department. In 2002 he began working for the Missouri Highway Patrol and was the Graduate Class Commander in 2003, when he was assigned to Taney County. After two months in Taney County, he was assigned to Troop D in Barry County, where he was presently working. He moved to Cassville in 2005 to make his home. John was a member of the Navy Reserves and served in Iraq from 2005 until 2006. He was a member of the Cassville First Baptist Church, Troop D Swat Team, Missouri Trooper Association and also coached Little League Baseball. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2007, in Cassville First Baptist Church under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Reverend John Duncan will conduct the services. Burial with military honors will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville. The family will receive friends from 4:30 until 6:30 p.m. Thursday with viewing from 6:30 until 7:30 p.m. in Cassville First Baptist Church.
