COWLEY, JOHN MICHAEL, 74Ocala - John Michael Cowley, 74, died at Tuscany House, Summerfield on January 11, 2010. He was a retired design engineer. He graduated with Honors from the University of Sheffield, England in 1957, and was a life member of several professional career associations. He was a devoted family man, an avid reader, who enjoyed various sports, woodworking, and home renovation. Mr. Cowley is survived by his wife of 51 years, Rita Cowley, Ocala; 3 children, Elizabeth Cowley Payne, Ocala, James Michael Paul Cowley, Lawrence, MA, Simon Christopher Cowley and his wife Stacey, McKinney, TX, and 7 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 1 PM, Friday, January 15, 2010, at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services, 5946 SE Robinson Road, Belleview.
