Obituary of John McKenna


McKENNA John F., Jr., 83, of Wayne, formerly of Little Falls, died Sunday. Born in Paterson, Mr. McKenna resided in Little Falls for 45 years before moving to Wayne in 2001. He was the retired President of South Paterson Trucking & Warehousing Co. of Paterson. Mr. McKenna was Veteran of the US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Henry Buikema Post #121, American Legion on Little Falls; a member of the Retired Teamsters of Local #560 and a member of the Wayne Elks Lodge #2181. He was predeceased by one brother and three sisters. Survivors include: his wife, the former Rachel Scala; his daughter, Rachel Reigottie and her husband John of Clifton; his son, John F. McKenna, III and his wife, Susan of Little Falls; his four grandchildren, Tracy Moran and her husband, Michael of Stony Point, NY, Robyn Osborne of Clifton; Megan and Brian McKenna, both of Little Falls and four great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM Thursday at Bizub-Parker Funeral Home, 47 Main St., Little Falls. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. Visitation on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Holy Angels RC Church Building Fund, 465 Main St., Little Falls would be appreciated. Visit www.bizub.com for driving directions/ online condolences.
