August 31, 2006 John McFadden, 52, of Syracuse, died peacefully at Crouse Hospital, with his family by his side, after a long courageous battle with lung cancer. John was a Marine Corp Veteran and was a master electrician for over 30 years. He was a 2005 graduate of Onondaga Community College and earned an Associates degree in Science. John was previously employed at CNY Services and Tully Hill where he touched so many lives as a drug and alcohol rehab counselor. John was and avid golfer and was a huge SU basketball fan. He is survived by his fiance, Denise Evans; two daughters, Heaven Donner (Brian), of Syracuse and Harmony Turner (John), of Norfolk, VA; four brothers, Charles McFadden (Pamela Sebastian), Terrance McFadden (Christine), Dennis McFadden (Gloria), Damon Fouts (Susan); a sister, Billie Susko (Matthew), all of Syracuse; four grandchildren and 14 nieces and nephews. Funeral Services: Wednesday 9 a.m. at Hollis Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. in The Basilica of The Sacred Heart of Jesus. Calling Hours: Tuesday 4 to 7 p.m. at Hollis Funeral Home, Syracuse.
