McCONVILLE "Mac", John J. J. Aug 13, 1921 - Nov. 25, 2002 Veteran of WWII Royal Canadian Signal Corps on front lines in Europe and Italy. Founder of Mac's Delivery Service. Life member of Royal Canadian Legion Br. 462 and Knights of Columbus, Vanier. Died peacefully at Ottawa General Hospital aged 81 years. Son of the late William J. McConnville and Philomene David, predeceased by sisters Theresa, Colleen and Peggy. Survived by his six children; Bill, Patti, John Jr. (Muff), Eileen, Faye and Bruce. Dear brother of Lillian, Eileen, Tony, Tom, Ann and Diane. Beloved grandfather of Jena, Jordon, Dustin, Kayla, Josh, Brian, David, Rose, Anna-Faye, Kurt and Tyler. A much loved uncle to many nieces and nephews. A well known community member and lifelong citizen of Eastview-Vanier. John will be sadly missed by is many friends and family.
