MADAWASKA - John M. Michaud, 76, died peacefully Nov. 14, 2011, at his residence with his family by his side. He was born July 11, 1935, in Edmundston, Canada. He was the son of Arthur and Marie (Neveu) Michaud. He is survived by his loving wife, Louise Michaud of Madawaska; one daughter and son-in-law, Janie and Adam Duplisea of Hermon; one son, Kevin Michaud of Madawaska; one granddaughter, Aubrie Lynn Michaud; three sisters, Hugette Cyr of St. Basile, New Brunswick, Sue Pelletier of Madawaska and Muriel Welch of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; three brothers, Guy Michaud of Smyrna, Ga., Pete Michaud of Newnan, Ga., and Roland Michaud of Joliet, Ill.; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents; one sister, Sister Fernand Michaud; and two brothers, Gaby Michaud and Dave Michaud. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at St. Thomas Church, Madawaska, where friends and family may offer their condolences 9 a.m. until the time of service.
