Speake, John Lloyd, II, age 61 of Pompano Beach, FL passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2006. A veteran of the Viet Nam Conflict having served in the U.S.M.C. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart. He was retired from Delta Airlines. He is survived by his daughter, Denise (Peter) Nani; son, John L. (Nu Dang) Speake, III; brother, Scott (Linda) Speake; sisters, Cindy (Bobby) Escoto and Kathy (Barry) Escoto and 6 grandchildren: Lauren, Nick, Marion, Chris, Zack and Alex. His family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:30-3:00PM at the funeral home with a service to celebrate his life at 3:00PM.
