John E. (Jack) Age 86 of 48 American Street, Wellsboro, PA, died June 5, 2001 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. He was the husband of the late Beatrice Knapp Lee who died August 2, 1996. He was born February 1, 1915 in Canton, PA, the son of the late Charles and Olive Jenkins Lee. He was a former resident of Canton, PA and Camp Hill, PA and was a retired engineer for the Pennsylvania Railroad. He was a member of the Wellsboro Moose #1147 and enjoyed playing cards and walking. Surviving are a son, John E. (Jack) Lee of Orwigsburg, PA; three grandchildren, Lorie Ann MacBlane-Hoover, Elmira, NY, Robert Charles and Barbara MacBlane, Elmira, NY and Tom and Anna Austin of Germany; six great grandchildren, including Olivia Elaine Hoover, Margaret MacBlane and Michael MacBlane. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Jean Austin. Friends may call at the Tussey-Mosher Funeral Home, 139 Main St., Wellsboro, PA on Friday, June 8, 2001 from 10:00 - 11:00 am. A Moose Service will be held at 10:50 am. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. Peter DeVantier officiating. Burial in Park Cemetery, Canton, PA.
