NEW ALBANY DOUGHERTY, JOHN L. "LARRY" III, 71, passed away Monday, August 4, 2008, at his residence, in Seymour, TN. Mr. Dougherty was a native of Jeffersonville, IN and a former resident of New Albany. He was a 1955 graduate of New Albany High School and was retired from G.E., in Louisville, as a Supplier Specialist. Survivors include a son, Brent Dougherty (Becky), of Seymour, TN; a daughter, Allyson Hoffman (Michael), of Bradenton, FL; and grandchildren, M. Ryan Hoffman, Samuel J. Hoffman, Lauren E. Dougherty and Kristen E. Dougherty. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville, 1119 E. Market St., New Albany, IN. Visitation will be held 48 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park, in New Albany. Expressions of sympathy may be given to Mt.
