Peters, John Joseph Greece: Suddenly, Sunday, September 20, 2009. Born in Rochester on January 3, 1958. Predeceased by his father, Joseph. He is survived by his dear wife and best friend Wendy; his son, Joseph; daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Todd McRae and mother, Alice. John's true love was his family and friends. He was a passionate and caring man who lived an active life with many interests including motorcycles, photography, snowmobiling, sailing, target shooting and anything that was technically innovative, requiring an engine or with a gadget. He was a graduate of St. Ambrose, Bishop Kearney and R.I.T. John served as Senior Vice-President and Chief Technology Officer at Performance Technologies. John also held various Engineering positions with PTI and Computer Consoles, Inc. Friends may call Thursday, 3-7 P.M. at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home, 777 Long Pond Rd. (between English and Latta). Funeral Mass 10:30 Friday at Peace of Christ Parish at St. Ambrose, 25 Empire Blvd. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
