John J. Nagle, formerly of Tarrytown, passed away on May 1, 2010 in Stockton, CA. He was 67 years old. Son of the late John J. and Margaret L. Nagle of Tarrytown, he was born on Feb. 9, 1943 in the Bronx. He graduated from Archbishop Stepinac High School and served in the US Navy aboard the USS Waccamaw. He was Vice President of J.J. Nagle Realtors and served as Chief of the Tarrytown Volunteer Fire Department where he was a life-active member of Hope Hose Company. In Stockton, CA, he was a Director and Artist in Residence of the Tidewater Art Center and Gallery. He is survived by his son John J. Nagle and his wife Jena of New York City, his grandson Jackson, his daughter Janice Nagle of Niagra Falls NY and his brother Richard of Croton on Hudson NY. He is also survived by his nieces Beth Retzloff of Tarrytown, Nancy Gormely of Dobbs Ferry and their children Alex, Megan, Alison, Emily and Edward.
