BILLERICA - John J. Donovan, 67, a 37-year resident of Billerica who had worked in circulation for a Boston newspaper, died unexpectedly Friday, Aug. 16, at Saints Memorial Medical Center in Lowell. He was the husband of Bridget T. (Connolly) Donovan.He was born in Boston on March 18, 1935, a son of the late John J. and Margaret (Downing) Donovan, and had resided in Arlington before moving to Billerica.Mr. Donovan worked in the circulation department of the Boston Herald for 30 years. He had been a member of the Billerica Irish American Club.Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Maura Hartwick and her husband, William, of Hudson; a brother, Patrick Donovan of Everett; a sister, Marjorie Foley of Lowell; and two grandchildren, Bryan and Brad Hartwick.He was also the brother of the late Daniel Donovan.
