Lee, John Hubert "Jack"Oct. 29, 1928 - Sep. 4, 2012John Hubert Lee, 83, of Venice, formerly of New York passed away September 4, 2012. Mr. Lee served his country during WW II in the U.S. Navy. He worked for Standard Oil, he was an Assistant Manager for Acme Stores, served as Retail District Manager for Shasta Beverage Company, was a reporter for the United Press and Middletowne Times Herald, and authored a work entitled "Impressions." A loving husband and father, John is survived by Dorothy, his loving wife of 54 years, children John (Laura) of Bangor, ME, Laurie (Jay) of Winterport, ME, Carolyn (Jay) of Bow, NH, & Chris of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, gr5andchildren Denise, Erica, Danielle, Jayme, Dana, & Peter, and his brother Dennis of Venice, FL. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Epiphany Cathedral on Friday, September 7th at 10:30 am, with inurnment later in Epiphany Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Mr. Lee's memory to Epiphany Cathedral. Farley Funeral Home & Crematory, Venice Chapel has been selected to care for arrangements.
