WINTER HAVEN -- Mr. John Hogan of Winter Haven died Friday (June 24, 2005) of complications of Alzheimer's disease at Palm Garden of Winter Haven. He was 92.Born on July 25, 1912, in Quincy, Mr. Hogan was a lifelong resident of the area. He was a fruit loader. He was formerly a Mason. He was a Baptist.Mr. Hogan is survived by his sons, Johnny Bowen, Newark, N.J., Vincent Hogan, Winter Haven, Niam Darren Hogan, Durham N.C.; daughters, Phyllis Bowen, and Annie Hogan, both of East Orange, N.J.; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
