PARKER, John Henry February 16, 1924 - April 3, 2011 With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Jack passed away in Peace Arch Hospital surrounded by his family. He is survived by Alta, his loving wife of 62 years; his 4 children, Janet, Jo-Anne, John, Jeff (Cheryl); 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by daughter-in-law Cindy (2007), sons-in-law Bill (2008) and Bud (2010). Jack was born in Coal Creek, BC and was a WWII veteran. As an avid sports participant and coach himself he was always supportive of the many diverse activities of his children and grandchildren. Jack loved a good party, always had a story to tell and enjoyed his Sunday family dinners. He will be sadly missed and always remembered. His weary hours and days of pain His troubled nights are past; And in our aching hearts we know He has found sweet rest at last.
