ELLIOTT, JOHN HENRY, 79, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He is survived by his son, John G. Elliott; and sisters, Sherlie Thompson, Ollie Mumford, Joanne Williams and Willie Moss. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Wednesday followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. at King Solomon Missionary Baptist Church, 1620 Anderson St., with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery.
