Obituary of John Harrington


John Harrington of Maybrook, NY, a retired math teacher for the Monroe-Woodbury Schools, passed away peacefully Sunday, March, 22, 2009, after a brief illness, at the age of 63. The son of the late Raymond and Charlotte Harrington. He is survived by the love of his life, Linda Brooker Harrington, his son John Harrington and wife Joan of Walden, his daughter Jill Harrington Bresnick and her husband Brian of Newburgh and his son James Harrington and his wife Erin of Quincy, MA. He is also survived by his three beautiful grandchildren, who are his pride and joy, Brooke and Douglas Harrington of Walden and Keirnan Bresnick of Newburgh, his sister Marie Gokey and her husband Adrian of New Windsor, sister Geraldine Young and her husband Frank of Huntington, Tx and brother Raymond Harrington Jr. and his wife Mary of Georgetown, SC and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 25, 2009 from 4-8 PM at the Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank St.Walden, NY. A Funeral Mass will be Thursday March 26, 2009 at 11AM, at Most Precious Blood, Walnut St., Walden, NY. Burial will be in Wallkill Valley Cemetery in Walden, NY. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be made to the John Harrington Memorial Scholarship at Monroe Woodbury High School, Attn: Aldo Filippone, 155 Dunderberg Rd, Central Valley, NY 10917.
