Obituary of John-George Clarke

Suddenly at his home in Carleton Place, Ontario on Wednesday, March 13, 2002. John George Clarke at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of the late Edith Deschamps. Loving father of Art, Ronnie, Judy Bond (Denis), Joanne MacDonald (Harry), Jack (Pat), Nancy Crawford (Dennis), Eddie, Tom (Donna), Brian (Sylvie), Norman (Kari) and David (Carla). Dear "Poppy" to his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survived by his sisters Alice Graham, Ellen Williams and Mabel Hornsey. Brother-in-law of Marlene, Phyllis, Beverly, Arthur and Wayne. Friends may call at the ALAN R. BARKER FUNERAL HOME 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the chapel on Saturday at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow.
