Fork Lift Operator AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at Medical College of Georgia, Mr. John Gary Hill, 49, husband of Debbie A. Hill. Gary, a native of Georgetown, SC, lived in the Hephzibah area since he was 13. He graduated Hephzibah High School. He was High School Senior Class President and was active in baseball and football. He was on the committee to save the Diamond Lake racetrack. He worked for Genco Supply Chain Solutions as a Fork Lift operator. He was a Methodist. Survivors include: wife: Deborah Ann Hill, Augusta, Ga.; one daughter: Jessica Lyn Hill, Augusta, Ga.; parents: John Cecil Hill and Lottie Jane Hill, Augusta, Ga.; one brother: Rusty Hill, Hephzibah, Ga.; two sisters: Teresa H. DelDuco, Waynesboro, Ga. and Jan Johnson, Burke, Co. Ga. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11:00 AM at Poteet Funeral Home Peach Orchard Rd. Rev. Dewain French officiating. Interment will follow at Hephzibah-Vance Cemetery, Hephzibah. Pallbearers will be: Pete Galle, Earl Herndon, Matthew Lewless, John Keilholtz, Michael DelDuco, Daniel Brown, Scott Brown, Ken Hitchcock, Mike 'Myrtle' Orr.
