Sanbornton -- John "Georgie" G. Michaud, 72, died March 25, 2009, at Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia. He was born June 17, 1936, in Exeter to George and Lydia (LaFrance) Michaud. He grew up in Exeter and attended St. Michael School. He formerly worked as a machine operator for the Easter Seals Society of New Hampshire Inc. He had been a long-time resident of Belmont before moving to Sanbornton. He enjoyed baseball and was an avid and very knowledgeable Red Sox fan. Family members include two brothers, Paul A. Michaud of Columbus, N.C., and David P. Michaud of Hopkinsville, Ky.; a sister, Lillian Woodman of Bradenton, Fla.; and nieces, nephews and cousins.
