John Richard Federline III, 88, of 111 Longview Terrace, passed away Nov. 23, 2004, at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson.Mr. Federline was the widower of Fay Williams Federline. Born in Kings Mountain, N.C., he was a son of the late John Richard Jr. and Pearl Morgan Federline. Mr. Federline served in the U.S. Army, Infantry, during World War II in the CBI Theater.Surviving are two sons and their wives, John Godwin and Betty Federline of Tulsa, Okla., and Wayne Williams and Nancy Federline of Greenville; three grandchildren, John, Robert and Gabrielle Federline; two great-grandchildren, Julia and Makayla Federline; and a sister, Peggy Anthony of Alabama.No services are planned. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
