In Loving Memory of John F. Kanick III September 24, 1947 April 12, 2009 The family of John Kanick would like to thank everyone for their love and support during this difficult time. He left a void that will never be filled. John touched many people's hearts in his 61 years. He was always available to lend a hand, advice, or his shoulder. He was compassionate, intelligent, and, in his own words, "funny". Our time spent with him was filled with laughter, as he was the consummate joke teller. He loved practical jokes, whether they were played on him or others, and no one laughed harder than he did. Many will remember his love of Formula One and Sports Car auto racing, vintage cars, and his vast knowledge of - and love for - music. He loved his family above all else, and John was deeply loved in return. Though time moves on, memories remain, and we know those memories will be held dear by all who knew and loved him.
