John F. Jack Molloy Jr., 75, of West Orange passed away on Friday, Jan. 28, 2011, at the Veterans Affairs Health Care Facility in Lyons. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main St., at 9 a.m., then to Our Lady of the Lake Church, Lakeside Avenue, Verona, for the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Visiting will be on Monday from 1 to 3 and 7 to 9 p.m. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. Mr. Molloy was born in New York City and was a lifelong resident of West Orange. He worked as the regional sales manager for Brink's Security in New York City before retiring in 1981. Jack served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of the West Orange Knights of Columbus Council No. 5519. Mr. Molloy was the beloved husband of the late Joan Molloy (nee Lutz); devoted father of John, Robert and his wife, Denise, Eileen Proven and her husband, Cliff, and Brian; loving brother of Clare Emerson, Eleanor Molloy, and Maryann Molloy, and cherished grandfather of John, Henry, Elizabeth, Jake and Julia.
