Obituary of John-Edwin Lee


John Edwin Lee, age 48, passed away October 27, 2005, in Canon City, Colo. He was born November 2, 1956, in Springfield, Mo., to John O. and Deloris (Bassore) Lee. John married Frances Fiore on July 27, 1986, in Oklahoma. He moved from California to Canon City where he has lived for the past twelve years. He has been employed by the United Stated Federal Penitentiary as a Systems Manager for more than twenty-three years. John has also served with United States Marine Corp. He is survived by his wife, Frances three children, John Wesley Kyle Lee of Canon City, Colo., Jeffrey John Paul Lee of Springfield, Mo., and Brandon Joseph Bennett and wife Jamie Lee of Canon City, Colo. mother, Deloris "Dee" Early of Springfield, Mo. stepmother, Doris Stites three granddaughters one sister, Jackie and husband Dick Wells of Springfield, Mo., and one brother Greg and wife Deanna Lee, of Farmington, N.M. He was preceded in death by his father: John Lee, stepfather, Daniel Early, and one sister, Debra Kay Stites. Visitation is 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, October 30, 2005, in Holt Family Funeral Home, Canon City, Colo. Funeral services are 2 p.m. Monday, October 31, 2005, in Holt Chapel of the Garden with Chaplain David Grooters officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain Vale Memorial Park Cemetery.
