ObituaryJohn Edward Keller, II, 65, of Wesley Chapel, FL, became a "Spirit in the Sky" on Wednesday, March 8, 2006. Born in Minneapolis, MN on August 24, 1940 to John Harvey and Mildred Keller of Wayzata, MN.Formerly of Fort Myers, FL, he recently moved to his new home in Wesley Chapel, FL. Retired owner and operator of a paint contracting business and a carpet care business in Fort Myers, FL. A loyal and dedicated American, he proudly served in the United States Navy.Preceded in death by son, John Christian.Survived by daughters Angela Marie and Kristine Lee and son John Joseph "J.J.," son-in-law Henry Lloyd Markle, sisters Tanya (Keller) Miller, Lucinda Keller, and a large, loving family that he cherished and adored.Loving and devoted father who was very proud of his three children and his "favorite" son-in-law and all of their accomplishments. All those who knew him were touched by his compassion, integrity and giving spirit. He loved to travel and spend time with his family and friends around the country including many nieces and nephews and their children. He enjoyed sharing stories and attending sporting events. He was an avid Buccaneers, USF Bulls and Miami Hurricanes fan. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his son, J.J., on outings and attending events with him at Gulfcoast Center. His warm sense of humor brought joy to those around him and he will remain forever in our hearts. "As always," we love you Dad.
