Franck, John Edward IIIMay 17, 1940 - June 16, 2010John Edward Franck III, 70, of Osprey, formerly of Newburgh, N.Y., died June 16, 2010.Services will include a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Venice. Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.Survivors include his wife, Pamela; sons Larry of Venice and Michael of Ellenton;daughter-in-laws Janie and Denise; grandchildren Julia, Jonathan, Andrew and Joshua; a sister, Paula (Arvid) Johanson of New York; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Franck served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1962 on the destroyer escort U.S.S. Hooper. He later was an operating engineer in Westchester County, N.Y.
