JOHN EDWARD DAY, III, 25 LAKELAND - Mr. John Edward Day III, age 25 of Polk City passed away Sunday November 18, 2007 in Lakeland due to heart failure. John was born September 3, 1982 in Lakeland and lived his entire life in Polk County. He attended Auburndale High School was an Eagle Scout with Troop #104 in Lakeland and was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his father, John E. Day Jr. of Bartow, his mother, Diana Day of Polk City, Maternal grandparents, Ben and Lella Garrett of Ft. Meade, an Uncle and Aunt, B. J. Garrett of Crystal River and Cathy Garrett of Lake Wales, Uncle and Aunt, John and Judy Frowein of Kissimmee, cousins, Jessica and Hunter Garrett of Lake Wales and his fiance', Leah Johns of Auburndale. Funeral services will take place Saturday at 2 PM at the Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale. Visitation will begin at 1 PM at the funeral home.
