ELLIOTT, John Passed away peacefully on 24th November 2006. He was born in Richmond, Yorkshire, England in 1911. John will be fondly remembered by Barbara his wife and partner for fourteen years; son Peter and wife Lilia; grandsons Andrew and Richard, the Whately family and many relatives in England. He was a veteran of WWII with the First Army Hospital Corps. He then went on to continue his hospital work at St. Bartholemew's, London. On retirement in 1980 he came to Canada. He spent many years as a volunteer in the Royal B.C. Museum in Victoria. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2006 at 2:00 pm at Saint Andrew's Catholic Cathedral on Blanshard Street with Father Joel Rama as celebrant. The family would like to thank all the staff at Mount St. Mary who have been so supportive. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount St. Mary.
