Obituary of John Elliott

ELLIOTT John Anthony (Tony) passed away peacefully at home on the evening of September 20th surrounded by his loving wife Carole, daughter Gina, son Scott, daughter-in-law Lynn and dear friend John. Born in Nelson B.C. on April 3rd 1939, Tonygraduated in civil engineering from U.B.C. in 1969. His professional career began with Peter Kiewitt and Sons, followed by 20 years with Shell Canada after which he formed Elliott Environmental & Engineering, contracting with Imperial Oil. Tony and Carole retired to Pender Island in November 2002, and in the spring of 2004 moved into the beautiful seaside home that Tony and his friends built over the past several years. A celebration of Tony's life will be held at the family home onPender Island on Saturday September 25th beginning at 11:00 a.m.. The family welcomes all friends to attend.
