John E. Lee of Binghamton John E. Lee, 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 12, 2008. He was predeceased by his wife, Genevieve. He is survived by his loving family, sons, Edward Lee, John Lee, and Gary Lee; brother, Charles Lee. He was a Veteran of WWII, where he was wounded in France. John retired after 20 years of service from Universal Instruments. He grew up in Childs, Pa. and loved gardening. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 15, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Stephen W. Starzer officiating at Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango St., Port Dickinson, N.Y. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home until the time of the service. Burial will take place in the Sand Banks Cemetery, Carbondale, Pa.
