Mr. John E. Howell III VIDALIA - Mr. John E. Howell, III, 55, died Wednesday, June 6, 2007 in the Georgia War Veterans Home in Milledgeville after an extended illness. He was a native and lifelong resident of Toombs County, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and attended the Church of Christ. He is survived by one daughter, Jessica Howell of Vidalia; three sisters, Betty Joan Lee of Hazlehurst; Joyce James of Lyons and Donna Ryals of Macon; two grandchildren, Marcella and Gus Howell of Vidalia. Visitation will be held 7:00-9:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2007 in the chapel of Murchison Funeral Home with Reverend Bobby Lairsey, officiating.
