HAMILTON - John "Jay" Donovan III, 58, of Hamilton Township, passed away Saturday, Apr. 9, 2011, at his home.Born and raised in Hamilton, Jay was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Steinert High School. He was employed with the New Jersey State Police and retired after 22 years of service.Jay was a past member of the Capital City Motorcycle Club and the Hamilton Hog Chapter. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, boating, fishing, his truck, and target shooting.Son of the late John J. Jr. and Juanita Jane Coswell Donovan, Jay is survived by his wife of 23 years, Cecelia A. Donovan; his two service dogs, Tiki2 and Todd2; his cousin, Richard, of California; and his extended family and many friends.The funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the Saul Colonial Home, 3795 Nottingham Way, Hamilton Square. Entombment will follow in Ewing Cemetery, Ewing Township.
