John Clyde "Jack" Vincent Jr. of Long Beach Township , N.J., passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011, at Ocean Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at The Dangler Funeral Home of West Orange, 340 Main St., West Orange, N.J., at 9 a.m., then to St. Joseph's Church, 44 Benvenue Ave., West Orange, for the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover, N.J. Visiting will be on Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. Letters of condolence may be posted at danglerfuneralhome.com. Mr. Vincent was born in Orange, N.J., and raised in West Orange. He moved to Long Beach Township 20 years ago. Jack served in the US Merchant Marine during World War II, and then became a stationary engineer with PSE&G in Secaucus, N.J., where he worked for 37 years. He was also a member of the Army National Guard in West Orange. Mr. Vincent was the beloved brother of Thomas "Whitey Vincent (Joan), and the late Barbara Vincent, and cherished uncle of Thomas Jr. (Anne), and David (Catherine).
