JOHN CHARLES WALL HEBRON, IN John Charles Wall, Age 48, a resident of Hebron, formerly of Munster, passed away on December 28, 2013. John was a graduate of Munster High School, a graduate of IUN and South Suburban College. He was a volunteer firefighter for the towns of Munster, Dyer and Hebron and was currently a Battalion Chief for the city of Hobart for 20 years. John was a member of the Professional Firefighters Union of Indiana and International Association of Firefighters and the I.V.F.A. John was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Kathleen Harper and his grandfather, Charles L. Wall, Sr. Survivors include his wife, Kari Wall, of Hebron; sons: Christopher Charles and Jeremy Michael; and his parents: Charles and Mary Wall of Crown Point; brother, Breck Wall of Crown Point; and sister, Darla (Bob) Winland of Valparaiso; mother -in-law, Linda Huber of Hebron; father-in-law, Michael Huber, of Hammond; and sister -in-law, Sarah (Adam) Amrine of Westfield; as well as several nephews. Friends may visit with John's family on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 East 7th Street, Hobart. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 3, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home with Charles Wall and Rev. Charles Strietelmeier concelebrating.
