John Charles Flanagan, 73, of Little River Cottage Site, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001, at Self Memorial Hospital. Born in Bronx, N.Y., he was a son of the late James Francis and Eva Faller Flanagan. Retired: Upper Savannah Health Department. Survivors: Wife, Wilma Fleming Flanagan; a son, James Clifton Flanagan of Dunellon, Fla.; sisters, Lorraine Flanagan and Florence F. Murphy, both of Las Vegas, Nev.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Strom Funeral Home. Service: 3 p.m. Sunday at Pressly Memorial ARP Church. Burial: Overbrook Cemetery.
