ROCHESTER ; John J. Casey, 92, died Thursday, May 15, 2008, at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a period failing health.He was born in Dover on Oct. 15, 1915, the son of John J. Casey Sr. and Mary (Parle) Casey and had been living in Rochester for the past 62 years, moving from Dover. Before his retirement, he worked for Moore Business Forms in Dover for 45 years. He umpired Little League for 20 years and was inducted into the Umpires Hall of Fame. He loved making crafts and giving them to his friends, enjoyed people and was a devoted and loving husband.Surviving members of the family include his wife of 62 years, Marjorie (Turcotte) Casey of Rochester, and several nieces and nephews.According to John's wishes, there will be no calling hours. Friends and family are invited to gather at St. Mary's Church, 71 Lowell St., Rochester, at 10 a.m. on Monday, followed by burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the H. J. Grondin & Son Funeral Home, 177 North Main St., Rochester.
