->John E. CaseyRed Hook - John E. Casey, 64, a lifelong Rhinebeck and Red Hook resident, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at his home. John worked in sales his entire career. He most recently worked for Macy's in Poughkeepsie and previously worked in Filene's and the former Montgomery Wards.John also was an avid and knowledgeable stamp collector. He was born on February 27th, 1947, in Rhinebeck, NY; he was the son of the late Francis Edward and Mary Ellen (Daly) Casey. He was a graduate of Rhinebeck High School, Class of 1967 and he also was a graduate of the Kessler Business Institute.He is survived by his loving family, a brother; Robert Casey of Red Hook, NY, and a sister; Sr. Francis Patrick Casey O'Carm of Columbus, OH, along with many friends and colleagues.Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes, 91 E. Market St. Rhinebeck on Monday, September 26th, 2011 from 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 PM. 
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 27th, 2011 at St. Christopher's Church, Red Hook, NY. Father Patrick Buckley will officiate. Burial will be at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Red Hook.Memorial donations may be made in John's memory to the Carmelite Sisters, 600 Woods Rd, Germantown, NY 12526.Arrangements are under the direction of Burnett & White Funeral Homes.
