CASEY John E., Jr., 77 of Clearwater Florida, known by family and friends as "Mr. Fix It" died on Tuesday, March 13 at Largo Medical Center, Largo Florida. Born in Englewood he had lived in Teaneck, Bogota, and Bergenfield most of his life before moving to Florida 23 years ago. John was a Sergeant with Bergen County Police Department for 32 years before retiring in 1988. Survived by his wife Phyllis (nee Samartino). Father of John E. Casey III, Colleen Marsilio, and Maureen Loyola. Stepfather of Russell Thorne, Randy Thorne, Andrea Ramos, and Richard Thorne. Brother of Patricia Dabrowski, Kathleen Casey, Christine Gregory, the late Mary Natale, late Denise Klem, and the late Michael Casey. Also survived by five grandchildren, seven step grandchildren and the late Angel Jack. A funeral service will be held on Saturday 10 AM at the Boulevard Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1151 River Road, New Milford on Saturday 10 AM. Interment to follow George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. Visitation Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
