John R. Casey Plymouth-John R. Casey, January 12, beloved husband of 44 years of Mary E. (Fee) Casey. Loving father of Cathy Canney and her husband Paul of Natick and Theresa A. Casey of Ashland. Brother of Lorraine Hahan of Plymouth and the late Louis Cecco. Brother in law of Emma Cecco of Plymouth. Grandfather of Caroline Canney and Jack Canney. Also survived by several nieces and nephews." Born in Plymouth May 20, 1928 a son of the late John T. and Eva (Dusanne) Casey.He was educated in the Plymouth schools and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was the owner and operator along with his late brother Louis of the Samoset Press in Plymouth for 50 years. A member of the American legion #40 Plymouth and the Knights of Columbus #1190 Plymouth. He loved sports and was an avid Red sox fan. He loved spending time with his family and friends."Funeral from the Cartmell Funeral Home 150 Court St. Plymouth on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Peters Church Plymouth at 10:00 a.m. Visiting hours on WED. from 4-7 p.m. only. Burial in Vine Hills Cemetery Plymouth.
