COOPER, John R. "Bob," 73, of Zephyrhills, Fla., passed away Thursday, September 28, 2006. He was born in Lockland, Ohio and moved to Zephyrhills in 1993. In Ohio, he taught Sunday school for more than 30 years at Landmark Baptist Temple and worked as a teacher, coach, counselor and athletic director at Mount Healthy High School and Kings High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran, who served in the Korean War. He was a jovial, loving father and a great man, who touched many lives. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and surviving family members: sons, Perry (Sharon) Cooper of Cincinnati and Randy (Emelyn) Cooper of Tampa; grandchildren, Angela, Carissa and Christian; and sister, Virginia Cooper of Cincinnati. There will be a gaveside service 10 a.m., Monday, October 2, 2006, at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla., with military honors by Dade City Veterans of Foreign Wars Post.
