CARTER, John JJanuary 16, 1935 - June 11, 2012John peacefully entered the presence of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To mourn his passing is his wife Marilyn, children Jim, John Allen, Richard and Carol, grandchildren Kayla and Evan, sister Helen, nieces, nephews and friends. John's first career was in banking. In 1957 he joined his father and brother in Carter's Children's Wear. A few years after his brother George retired, John closed the stores and began a third career as a Broker with J.T. Insurance Services. He enjoyed this career all the way into semi-retirement. For many years John was a member of the University (Men's Mid-Week) Golf Club. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Saviour Lutheran Church, 4737 57th Street, (Ladner) Delta, BC where John was a charter member.
