TAUER, John C., 39, of Eustis, passed away September 18, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Minta Z. Tauer, D.O.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack C. Tauer; a brother, Thomas Tauer and his wife Pamela; a sister, Marianne Tauer; his paternal grandmother, Fairy Tauer; an aunt, Suzanne Vernon; mother-in-law, Peggy Zulkey; brother-in-law; Michael Zulkey and his wife Marsha; sister-in-law, Martha Zulkey,; and brother-in-law, Mark Zulkey, D.O. and his wife June; as well as nieces and nephews. Mr. Tauer is a veteran of the US Army and was employed as a loss prevention officer. He was previously employed as a Sheriff's Deputy in Palm Beach County, FL, Cotton Co., Okla., and Osage Co., Okla. Locally, he was a Hillsborough County Sherriff's Office Reserve Deputy. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2003 at 10 a.m. at the Garden of Memories Funeral Home Chapel, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, FL 33610. Friends may visit on Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Ohio.
