John C. Crawford of Nineveh John C. Crawford, 54, of Nineveh (Thorn Hill) passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 11, 2009, while visiting in NJ. He was born in Jersey City, NJ to the late Charles and Dolores (Quiotidian) Crawford and was predeceased by his brother, Charles. He is survived by his wife, Judith Lynn Crawford, Nineveh; a son, Brian; 2 brothers, Jamie Crawford and Jody Crawford; 2 sisters and brothers-in-law, JoAnn and George Zavecs, Jacqueline and Sal Cuirleo, all of NJ; several other sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many of his close friends who he enjoyed spending time with. He and Judy owned and operated Kelly's Cab Co. in S. River, NJ with his son, Brian, by his side until 2005. He then moved to Nineveh (Thorn Hill) where he enjoyed spending most of his time. Graveside Services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in Riverview Cemetery, Harpursville. The family will receive friends at the Osterhoudt-Madden Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m.
