->Nolan II, John B.John B. (Jack) Nolan II, formerly of Irvington, NY, passed away quietly in his sleep on December 14, 2012. The son of John B. and Maisie Nolan, he was born in New York City on January 15, 1920. A WWII veteran, he served on the staff of General J. Stilwell, commander of the China-Burma-India Theater. In 1944, he married Margaret "Peggy" O'Mara, the love of his life and wife for 64 glorious years. He was a multi-talented artist, devoted husband, and amazing father, brother, Pop-Pop, cousin, uncle, and friend.Jack is survived by his loving sister Kathleen Dunn, children Charles Nolan and wife Cheryl, Kenneth Nolan and soul mate Jean Aschenbrenner, Margaret Mays and husband Mickey, and John B. Nolan III and wife Robbin; grandchildren Christine, David, Beth, and Gabrielle; great-grandchildren Lindsey, Nolan, Bridget, Katelyn, Amelia, and Chloe.He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Edward, Charles, and James, sisters Kathlyn and Beatrice, and his beloved Peggy.A memorial and celebration of his life will be held on January 11, 2013, from 11AM-12:30PM at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home in Dobbs Ferry, NY, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
