HITT, JOHN B. III, 48, passed away in Winter Park, FL on Monday, July 10, 2006 after a valiant battle with throat cancer. A native of Louisville, he had lived and worked as a sous chef in the Orlando area for over ten years. He was working for the Westchester at Regents Park at the time of his passing. He is survived by his children, Aileen and Spencer Hitt; his parents, J.B. II and Elaine Bryant Hitt; his sister, Susan Hitt Wemes, all of Louisville; his partner, Arlene C. Mills of Orlando; his aunts, Marilyn Bower and Suzanne Bolus, both of Louisville, Barbara DeGeorge of Bonita Springs, FL; four nephews; and one niece. Memorial service: noon, July 29 at St. Andrew United Church of Christ, 2608 Browns Lane. Visitation: 10 a.m. - noon, prior to service.
