Connor, John B. III, 58, of Orlando, passed away September 1, 2004. Before retiring, he served as Director of Public Safety/Chief of Police for 9 years at Florida Atlantic University; 13 years at Northern KY University and 5 years at Augusta Medical College. Mr. Connor is survived by wife, Marian; daughter, Carrie Gielow; sons, Brian and Michael; father, Col. John B. Connor, USAF (Ret) of Savannah, GA; brother, Stephen of Valencia, CA; sister, Carol of Hilton Head, SC; and granddaughter Presley Shay Gielow. Interment will be held in Savannah, Ga at a later date.
