ALBANY John A. Lee was called to rest on January 5, 2003 after a long illness at St. Peters Hospital. He was born on March 25, 1948 to Rose Campbell and the late Fred Lee. For over 35 years, Johnny was a butcher in the Albany area. He leaves to mourn, his loving wife Crystal Roberts-Lee; two sons, John Jr. and Johron Lee; three daughters, Melissa Lee, Selene Mayo and Tierra Benson; five grandchildren, Nylasia Dace, Uquawn Chaney, Sadasia and Rah-cief Collier, and Nijuan West, all of the Capital Area. Also survived by nine brothers and sisters, Marie, Margret, Robert, Jerry, Kenny, Pattie, Essie and Eric Lee and Emily Lee-Beasley and a host of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, Fred, Joe and Larry Lee and one sister, Fredell Lee. He will be missed by a host of friends and family. Funeral service 11:00 a.m., Thursday at Garland Bros. Funeral Home, 75 Clinton Ave. Calling hour 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment, Albany Rural Cemetery. The family will receive callers at 592 Livingston Avenue.
