Funeral services for Joe Terry "Porky" Smith age 36 are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Thursday September 7 2006 in the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Cates officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Hill Cemetery near Lexington. Mr. Smith a truck driver with Couch Farms died late Monday September 4 2006 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was a very outgoing loving kind hearted man brother son uncle and friend. Survivors include his parents Terry and Martha Melton Smith of Jackson; his grandparents E.C. and Adalee Smith of Enville; two sisters Bonita Tabor and Jennifer Ward both of Jackson; a niece and nephew Amanda Taylor of Medina and Kaylin and Cody Cain of Memphis and a host of other friends and relatives.
