Joanne Mersky (nee Green), 64, of Morristown, N.J., passed away on Nov. 13, 2013. The cause of death was leukemia. The family will be receiving on Sunday, Nov. 17, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman, 68 Old Short Hills Road, Livingston, N.J. Mrs. Mersky was a realtor in Morris County, N.J., for many years with Weichert Realtors. She was also a volunteer at the Carol Simon Cancer Center at Morristown Medical Center. Mrs. Mersky leaves her husband, Martin; brother, Richard Verdoni of Short Hills, N.J.; step-sons, Steven (Jennifer) of Livingston, N.J., and Robert (Micki) of Montville, N.J., and grandchildren, Brandon, Alexandra, Carly and Julia.
