Athens - Joann Lawrence Anderson, age 49, of Athens, died Sunday, December 16, 2007. Services will be 2pm, Saturday, December 22 at the Jackson McWhorter Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at East Lawn Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Avery G. Anderson, Sr.; five children, Avery, Jr., Avary, Clarence, Chatward and Jody Anderson; three sisters, Rebecca Lawrence, Mary Elder, and Cherry Brown; brothers, Robert and Jody Lawerence; and seven grandchildren. Jackson-McWhorter, Athens, has charge of the arrangements.
